The Education Policy treats special-needs education as a whole-system responsibility and promotes inclusion, integration and participation of children with special needs.
It supports mainstreaming learners with mild and moderate disabilities, early identification, equitable access to quality teaching and learning, stronger resource support, teacher training and closer collaboration between education and health personnel.
