Examinations guidance
Plain-language guidance and links to official examination bodies.
Examinations for basic and secondary learners are administered by the responsible examinations bodies. This page explains where to go; the Ministry does not issue results through this website.
Where results and registration are handled
Registration, timetables, results and certificate matters are handled by the examinations bodies responsible for each examination, including the West African Examinations Council for regional examinations, and by the National Assessment arrangements coordinated with Standards and Quality Assurance for national assessments.
Important
- This website does not provide an online result checker.
- The Ministry does not publish individual candidate results.
- Only follow instructions from the official examinations body or your school.
- Be cautious of unofficial websites or social media accounts offering results or registration for a fee.
Published assessment data
Aggregate national assessment and basic certificate examination data files are available in the publication repository. These are statistical files, not individual results.
